The Central Coast Poultry Club’s annual show was staged on Sunday 29th of May 2011 at the Wyong Racecourse in appreciation of a lifetime contribution to exhibition poultry. The club's first ever Testimonial Show was held in honour of Warwick Saunders, the clubs popular president and life member. The feature breed was Anconas, which Warwick was first introduced to in 1938 at the tender age of four years old, ten years later Warwick was a foundation member of the Ancona Club of Australia and at eighteen the clubs treasurer. Warwick is also the current president of the Ancona Club of Australia and their club also holds their annual show at Wyong. Warwick is recognised as a quality breeder, judge and advocate for exhibition poultry in general.
The Central Coast Poultry Club pavilion filled over 1385 quality pens and provided in excess of $7000 dollars in trophies and cash prizes as well as a dinner on the Saturday night. This Testimonial Show for the quite achiever Warwick Saunders was outstanding.
